2008 Coachman Sales

Coachman Caravans Ltd., informed Eglinton Caravans today, 25th Oct 2007, that their commitment to their larger dealerships, mainly in England, for the 2008 season is such that they are not in a position to supply Eglinton Caravans with any 2008 Coachman product at all. Coachman being a  “niche” market manufacturer, need to concentrate their sales efforts on the areas of the country that bring them their best returns, and unfortunately Coachman don’t consider South West Scotland to be one of these areas. This is disappointing for us, but it is understandable.

Existing Eglinton/Coachman customers.

For the foreseeable future we will continue working with Coachman as normal, to provide service, warranty, repair and parts order cover for any of our existing customers. However, we will not undertake service or warranty work on any 2008 Coachmans, wherever they are purchased, that being the prerogative of the selling dealer.

Other News.

Eglinton Caravans will continue as main dealers for all Ace, Compass and Elddis touring caravans and may consider introducing another UK manufacturer to their line up, to replace Coachman, in due course.
